Well first of all, Bioshock Vita has a pretty good chance at becoming the next big vaporware. Irrational Games struggles to get Infinite out of the gates and a bunch of important people apparently left the studio because of this. It makes me really sad because the Bioshock Vita announcement was a really big factor for my decision to buy a Vita.

Second, AC:L selling best out of the known titles is not really a risky prediction. It has the brand, the bundle and is not a direct port. The only competitor for this title is CoD and that game hasn't been shown at all right now. The rest of the games are direct ports of PS3 games so they will have to share their audience. But AC:L being the best does not automatically mean that it will be a hit. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Bold makes me wonder, why are people holding onto gen 7 successes. These were created in gen7 and most may no longer be successful in gen 8.

Rather Vita should continue to look for that emergent success for the new generation. I know they are trying, but I just had that thought due to what you're saying about Bioshock (which is a shame because it's an excellent series).

But you don't know until you try. Extablished IP's are pure bonus money that add to all the work you put into the game. It would be foolish to release "floating city shooter" when you just can slap "Bioshock Infinite" on it and increase the sales tenfold just with the name.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
