iOS/Android dominate cheap free to $4.99 games and the dedicated gaming systems dominate everything else. Sounds fine to me.

iOS/Android might have your occasional small-time original FF game or something, but they're not a replacement for dedicated gaming systems which receive higher quality games, even if they're not as popular as Angry Birds.

I don't think "Dominate" is a proper word. You're seeing more and more developers go for the >$4.99 market like Square Enix and Rockstar. Both are doing pretty well in that field. Do you think that, 4 years ago, iOS would be getting direct DS ports from major studios like Square? Few would have argued it, yet here we are.

Over the next 3-5 years, you're going to see a lot of major studios begin to port their titles to Smartphones. Eventually, they'll be day-and-date releases of the same product. When that happens, it'll only be a small hop and leap to major studios pushing iOS/Android harder than dedicated systems with lower profit margins.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
