The amount of time they're putting into post-release content for Drake's Deception implies that the Uncharted team has a bit of time on their hands. We didn't see any support quite as robust as this for Uncharted 2 (at least from what I remember), so I assume they're not in crunch mode prepping a new Uncharted for the end of 2013.
I'd guess the next Uncharted is being prepped for ps4, probably aiming for a release date within a year of launch, and they're mostly doing preliminary work right now given that window is still quite a ways away. That's a good thing, in my opinion.
