Lol, its because palin actually didnt kniw anything. She had almost no experience and mccain didnt properly vett her. However, i think mccain did a pretty good job of talking about substance and solutions, he just mostly dealt with foreign policy as that was his strong suit. You'll notice that obama hasnt actually done most of the foreign policy things he said he would, instead he has mostly followed what mccain said, thats because mccain knew what he was talking about.
Of course, 4 years ago i thought mccain was an idiot...
