I've lived in the US for 18 years( except for the summers) and i still fail to see the hype about it.

I find that people I know who don't have many friends or are particularly antisocial dislike sports.

Coincidence? You decide.

Anyway...

I rooted for the Cowboys... and then they lost.

I rooted for the Packers... and then they lost.

I'm rooting for the Patriots now.

I for one appreciate your efforts. Fight the good fight =)

As for me, I expect the Patriots to win but Iwould love for the Giant to pull it out.

Realistically speaking the Giants have already proven they can put themselves in a position to beat the Patriots. So its not a completely lost cause or anything. In my mind there are 3 or 4 things the Giants need to do in order to make it a good game and have a shot to win it, of those things:

1) The good Eli needs to show up and he needs to show up on the first play

2) The Giant's defensive line needs to spend a decent portion of the first quarter/half rushing 5 and trying to pressure Brady. Pats fans won't admit it but you can get in his head..the reason they deny it is because unlike most QBs he doesn't completely breakdown..he just becomes human. After that they need mix it up a lot after that because if they fall into any sort of pattern Brady + Moss will get into a rythym destroy them.

3) they need to force moss to make his plays in the middle of the field, they seriously have no chance if they let him get a free release and run free up the sideline

4) Execute when it matters most, in other words they need to keep the patriots off the board in the 4th quarter.

All of that in a nutshell is basically that I think the Giants are very capable of moving the ball but I don't think they are capable of stopping the Patriots at will. Which means thats is exactly what they need to do to have a chance. But ultimately I think the Patriots win it 31-24

Thats my take on it anyways.
