I LOVED the gameplay of 2008, along with the art style, the music, and even the storyline (Which was basic but still enjoyable), it's one of my favourite games this gen, and yeah I do prefer the gameplay of it to the previous games...

I ...I dunno what to say...for me it's the exact opposite. Loved the art style but other things, especially the combat..I felt was horrible compared to the previous ones. I couldn't even finish the game cuz i was so frustrated

that experience was the only reason why I didn't buy the last PoP game...even though I heard it was pretty good. I'm a HUGE fan of the previous pop trilogy
