About RPG remakes/ports, what generation would the PSV be looking at? It would be nice to see some PS2 era RPG's remade on the PSV, but that would really be below the capabilities of the PSV. Then again, most of Square enix's remakes were PS1 era for PSP, and only other devs (atlus, nis, etc) remade their PS2 games.
I don't think the PS2 has as many RPG's to port as PS1 did, so....I dunno. Sony needs to make more new unique content on the PSV.

good eye!!! then Sega could stop with that "we wanted to bring VC to another audience" bullshit that made them lose the VC fanbase
I think the PS2 could have some great RPG ports to the vita:
along with FF X I could see
Tales of Abyss/Legendia
Xenosaga
.Hack// G.U.
FF XII
Suikoden
wild arms
Shin Megami Tensie Games
Kingdom Hearts(this would be the only real system seller imo...maybe XII
I would throw in other RPG's but I think games with a series would be the best for Vita ports

If they didn't port Suikoden 1 & 2 to the PSP, what makes you think they will port Suikoden 3-5 onto the PSV? Also Persona 4 is already a PSV game, tales of the Abyss has been ported to the 3DS (I doubt they will port it again for PSV), and Nintendo owns the Studio who made XenoSaga.
So the only portable games there are Final Fantasy, but again they never ported the PS1 iterations onto the PSP, so why will they start with FFX?
Realistically we're going to see a Final Fantasy spinoff on the PSV (like Crisis Core), something new from Square Enix (like Jeanne d'arc) and a few PS2 ports (like Star Ocean 3, Rogue Galaxy, and ICO), but not as many as before.
PSV is going to need to acuire new JRPG's to do moderatly well.
