So you pretty much just hate people that get excited about stuff?? Would you hate someone talking to you and saying 'Hey i was playing Mario kart last night with some friends, this one guy was right up my ass with a green shell etc' Fact is people talk about what they enjoy. Im sure that if you where talking to someone thats not into playing games they would be like 'Dude get over it, i dont give a shit about your kiddie games' in their own heads. If you have nothing in common with someone that smokes weed fact is your going to get bored when they talk about weed, same goes for anything. If you have nothing in common with someone who likes Cars your going to get bored when they talk about Cars. But i love how some people in this thread single out weed smookers
You play COD online O_o . But to what you said, would it be better if they had a flaming skull? or maybe a pikman?? point is how is having an avatar type thing like that any worse??,
Im sorry to hear that. But thats the very first time i ever heared of weed driving someone mental unless the is already some type of mental issue there in the first place??.
This trust me guys if any of you think its bad being around a bunch of stoners and not being stoned. its 100 times worse when your the only person stoned in a room full of non smokers. |
I regards to what was directed at me, you may have gleaned the wrong impression. First off the obvious should be obvious and I never once used the word "hate". I don't really actually hate most things (sorry mosquitoes). Even if I do ever say it it's casual, not meant as actual real life hate and for me to be annoyed by someone's behavior is a far cry from hating them for it.
Now, I have no problem with people who enjoy things and I definiely have no problem with potheads. I used to smoke a little myself and I know a few people who still do. Thing is, these dudes aren't gonna roll up to you at a party and brag about just how high they are or how sticky the herb is. Why? Because they aren't immature people that want everyone to know their business, just like MANY pot smokers, drinkers and yes......people that love cars.
As for your example with the Mario Cart, if the person was bragging about how good they are at it and how everyone else in the world sucks, I'd probably just tell them that I could give two shits. Otherwise I'd just listen, probably try to find a place to inject my own thoughts on the matter then move on like I do with anyone. And if I found them to be especially annoying, I'd explain how much Nintendo is for little kids and how it's time to grow up noob (joking). As far as me talking to someone that wasn't into games....I wouldn't be. I feel like it's my resposibilty to know my audience and I see no reason to be shoving what I like down someone else's throat...I know, I know.
In the end, I guess it's the braggadocious personality that I associate with people who feel the need to overly expose themselves to anyone that will listen that annoys me.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
