No, they do not. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land, if a law is clearly unconstitutional (like the drug laws) - anybody can refuse to enforce them - states, presidents, police, sheriffs, judges, juries.
Most people are complacent because they don't want the fuss, but those few who do go out of their way to actually enforce the rule of law (a law which is unjust is no law at all, and is the reverse of the rule of law) perform a great service to those who are complacent.
But, unless the thread creator responds to me, I will not post again. Don't want to derail the thread anymore than what the creator will tolerate.
