I mean seriously! I just finished a bit of a marathon session of Call of Duty going from lobby to lobby and one thing became painfully obvious. People love getting high, puttinog on their headset and talking to other people.....about how high they are.
Now I used to smoke. I went from being a pro back in the late 90's to being an occasional smoker in 2007-2009 to not smoking at all. Aside from the occasional moment where I'd leave my bank card on top of the ATM machine or I'd pay for some gas and drive off without pumping it, I thought weed was cool. I engaged in some great conversations, felt pretty awesome, had a lot of fun, and I was generally a happier person. I dated a couple of professional weed smokers, too. The topics at hand were always how fucked up the world was, how we were going to change the world, and (of course) how high we were.
I can't stand being around a weed smoker for 45 seconds, now. Why?
- I don't care how high you are.
- I don't care how high you were.
- I don't care how you got in trouble for being high in a situation where you obvioulsy shouldn't have been high.
- I don't care about how Jason has the best weed.
Take that out of the equation and there really isn't much else to talk about anymore. I'm sure I was just as annoying when I got high but WTF? I like Nintendo. I don't bring it up randomly to everybody I meet. "Hey man, I got 120 stars in Super Mario 64." What is it about weed that makes you talk about weed!?
