It's from a character in The Mighty Boosh, which is a British comedy show for those who don't know. The main characters in the show get stranded on a desert island, go crazy and make companions out of coconuts in the same way that Tom Hanks creates Wilson in Castaway.
I can't remember why I thought it would be a good internet alias, but it's just stuck ever since. The only trouble is, there's dozens of people who use the same name as well.
