I owned an HTC One X for one day before returning it for an iPhone 4. Never seen such a buggy mess in production software, I thought I would prefer Android but upon seeing how restrictive it was I had to send it back.
That's one experience but at least you know what you're getting with iOS. I'm not an Apple fan but Android was neither cheaper nor better when I had it.
