Then it's about 630 million. Home consoles only are about 260 if my memory serves, didn't bother to check Congrats on the milestone. It's pretty impressive. But sadly I think it'll be a long time before the 500 gets passed. The PlayStation brand has probably peaked, and will never again reach the success of PS1 and especially PS2. I don't mean to sound pessimistic, I mean even though I'm primarily a Nintendo fan, PlayStation is one of the only consoles 'worthy' in my eyes to reach milestones like this. Voted for 2020, but it could also be 2019; The PS3'll do another 20 million units, the Vita won't get past 20. And it'll take a very long time also, I just don't see it happen. Assuming the PS4 releases in 2014 at the latest and also lives 6 years, so you have 400 + 20 + 18 + (PS4sales which would be about 70) in the next 8 years give or take. Sounds like a reasonable prediction to me! |
i see the lot of us are lazy these days lol.
yee of little faith. believe and it will come to fruition. it's good to think that while not knowing, cause that of the future has yet to be revealed.
fairly reasonable though lol.
