PS2 shipments have been like this for the past 4 years:

2008: 1.5 / 2.5 / 2.5 / 1.4
2009: 1.6 / 1.9 / 2.1 / 1.7
2010: 1.6 / 1.5 / 2.1 / 1.2
2011: 1.4 / 1.2 / 0.9 / 0.6
2012: ?

2012: 0.65 / 0.45 / 0.65 / 0.25  (+/- 0.15 for the middle two quarters, more minus as I think they overshipped ps2 this quarter)

My maths...

For FY 2012:  16m system (13m PS3 / 3m PS2)

Sony shipped 4.1 PS2 last year... so it dropped 27%.

1.4m - 27% = 1.02m

PS2: 1.02m
PS3: 1.77m

I think that people are looking at that 16 number and settings it in stone.  I sure it can be easily 16.4 or 15.7, which can alter things greatly.
