No, they are significantly stronger. dumb articles like this focus on the share price as the means to gauge how well he has done. Simple fact is MS was massively overvalued in 2000 (as were most dotcom companies). Since Balmer took over profits, revenue and sales have all skyrocketted and they have moved from being a joke in the enterprise to owning a significant portion of the enterprise. Has he done everything right, definitely not, but he has been incredibly successful in growing MS from where it was in 2000.
