I've been thinking along those lines. Some of the top names in Team GB have taken the stage (although some are in other events as well) and out of Daley, Adlington, Miley, Cavendish and Wiggins only one meda has been won. With a grand total of 3 and the point of writing and no golds, it isn't looking that promising.
Not meaning to be cynical, the events I have seen have been spectacular. The men 10m syncro platform was intense and it hasn't been that the athletes have flopped, but that someone else has been even better, which just makes for a great showcase.
