I can think of it as a point based mode or a number of flags captured mode (them ore conventianal way)

 

If it's the usual it can be such that you grab a flag and run to a location on the map and you get a point....others will try to stop you

or

a mode where the longer you hold the flag the more points you get. Similar to treasure hunter/plunder in Uncharted MP
