Obviously not all them do it, and there are games that do deserved being in the 90+ category, but you can't deny some of the huge developers pay to the biggest gaming sites, if they have a lot of money they can even bribe more than a couple of sites, Call of duty comes to mind...


Ok....let's say that for Call Of Duty 8 Activision did bribe GAMESPOT, and then they bribe IGN, and then they bribe GAME INFORMER too....

 

So what?  There's still over 75 other reviewers.    Even if they did bribe them, it couldn't have affected the overall score by more than 2 points or so.  So what?

That's the beauty of Metacritic......it's very difficult to beat the system averages.

and by the way....for Modern Warfare 3:

IGN = 90

GAME INFORMER = 90

GAMESPOT = 85

 

No offense intented, but I'm gonna have to stand by my statement, that your sentiment seems to be pretty ridiculous.
