The high budget games are actually more consistant, social gaming and casual gaming seems to involve a lot of luck. Rovio Entertainment released 15 titles before they released Angry Birds. The major thing they really need to do if they want to release new I.P. is to prototype it as a cheap/download game first like Portal before they spend the money to make it a major release.
