huh? The Wii U is selling at a profit, they have said it multible times. As well as the 3DS XL

Losses don't simply come from manufacturing the product. A lot is going to go into the WiiU that aren't just simple manufacturing costs. Think of what Nintendo will shell out in marketing during the holidays.
