How is the 3DS really doing compared to the DS in the U.S? 3DS/DS sales gap~

You do not think that nintendo has saturated itself with Pokemon right now? Two games and some eshop apps kinda seem overboard.

I see it as an oversaturation of Pokemon games built for the DS. As such, the best thing is for the (main) series to move on to the 3DS, where (hopefully) it can achieve meaningful change and (likely) boost hardware sales.
