you're not going to miss out on anything if you keep what you have right now. you can still trade it in later for a 3ds xl when you can transfer, and still keep your vita. if you want to rebuy a ps vita later on maybe they'll have a holiday sale in time for ragnarok odyssey or Z.O.E hd. but thats a chance you gonna have to take.
I think its interesting people flock to a larger 3ds, and some wait for a smaller ps vita. lmao
