The more Viper posts the more its obvious that rumor is garbage. We do know a high end APU is being created with a "Steamroller" codename. This is where I got most of my information after reading the rumor. However, it is noted that "Tahiti" is not mentioned with this APU anywhere. I only added that GPU info based on the rumor. I'm thinking maybe the point is proven and I should redo that part of the OP.

However, I've been continuously skeptical as its a 2013 chip and will be hot and expensive. But then again Sony did use the CELL in the PS3 and clearly didn't focus on lower-cost with the PSV. Maybe they still haven't learned their lesson and are headed towards loss leading hardware again at $500?
