With all the talk about Yahoo, imagine if MS was trying to buy Sony instead

Thats an interesting idea, and while I like the idea of being able to play the best of both on one console, it would benefit Sony and Microsoft a lot more than it would help me. and like others have said, I doubt Sony would go for it.
