tell me how a law abidding citizen owning a gun would make things worse for that women and her parents. had texas not had in place their terranical laws back then, her parents would be alive today.
only one guy had a gun, the other a bat. and you are telling me if criminals stormed the store with, bat, night sticks, and knives, that guys gun wouldnt have been needed. tell that to the hundreds, thousands of people that are victims of crimes like this, where the criminal had no guns in the vast majority of the cases. tell that to victims of home invasions, that get bruttaly raped, tied down with their children and burnt to death. tell those people that a gun wouldnt have helped since the criminals had no gun. |
Nice speech there preacher. Just for your Information, terrible shit happens with or without guns. The lax gun law in america just makes it that much easier to get in possession of a gun and who do you think will take that opportunity? The joung female whos about to get raped and strangled? The old granny whos about to get robbed and shot to death? Or the rapist, the murderer, the robber, the batshit insane crazy people who WANT TO HARM OTHER PEOPLE?
Maybe I went a little too far saying that NO civilian should have a gun, but there needs to be thorough screening and monitoring of people in possession of guns. And no, harsh gun laws will not prevent people from doing evil things, but guns have a habit of increasing casualties. Look at this very incident. Do you think someone with a knife couldve injured 60 people and killed 12? Someone with a baseball bat? Guns make killing just so damn easy.
Also, California or Washington having stricter gun laws isn't doing shit, when someone could just drive in another state and get their gun.
Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.
