Carl just want to troll that much and enjoy the news so much doesn't matter how hard you try to make sense.   Plenty have already told that many expected this news but still is he trying so hard to make this look like unexpected bad news that it isn't funny..  Just let him.  If that is what he enjoythen you can better let him be.
