Nah. It follows up the movie but I'm 99.9999% positive that NOTHING in this game will even be mentioned in the next Spider-Man movie. It takes a lot of liberties with everything. It's its own story, pretty much.
I'm torn with this game.
- I was hyped when I bought the game because some guy said it would be better than Arkham CIty (and it isn't even close)
- Then, I was EXTREMELY disapointed when I saw the game in person (looks better than it really is on youtube)
- Then I was really impressed with the feeling of swinging around New York
- Then I was blown away by the boss fight with the Spider-Slayers
- Then the game just started doing the same things over and over again--car chases, muggings, carrying people to the hospital, that same awesome boss fight--everything started awesome and then became repetitive to the point of bein a chore.
- Black Cat's stage was cool
- I've been to the sewer so many times in this game that I feel dirty.
- I'm on the last stage and I just want it to end
- The story was okay.
