Didnt the Playstation 3 lose Sony all the money they made from the Ps1 and 2??. Id say if MS is an incompetent game studio Sony is an incompetent console maker.. (Btw guys this is in no way how "I" feel about Sony and i love my PS3, but im just showing how something can be twisted)

 

Your assertion isn't factual nor is it reasonable.

1.  Who told you Sony lost all the money they made from the Ps1 and 2?  Can you give a link to that?   I'm sure I already know the answer.

2.  Yes, Sony did have heavy expenditures......for BLURAY.

Sony came into this knowing they were gonna lose a few BILLION on the PS3 because of adding BluRay.  Which means, Sony lost the money on purpose...........for a purpose. 

Obviously Sony does way more than just sell video games.   Now, was it all worth it?  You'd have to ask Sony, but it's a safe bet to say that the jury is still out on it, so your assertion is rendered moot.

But for Sony, having to to "lose billions", in this particular case, and is the case in many business situations......it's simply the cost of doing business.

 

 

Microsoft's situation is clear.....they are an incompetent dev studio manager.  It's clear as day.

You say that yet you cant see how you your self have done the very same thing -_- .

1. Well to be fair its their whole company thats losing Money. But i remember reading an article awhile back that Sony lost all profits made from the PS1 and 2, but funny enough i cant seem to find it now :-/ .

2. Heavy expenditures and bad management together had alot got to do with it.

Doesnt change the fact that Sony is bleeding money so just like you i could call them an incompetent company for making mistake after mistake all this gen, lets just hope kaz can get things back on track hey?..

But what your saying is also half truths and made up lies to fit your bill. can you show me where Bungie was begging to get away from MS??, and if they wanted to get away so bad why did they offer MS exclusive first choice for any games they make?.
