Oh excellent, a person after my own heart!  I'd been following FF to the PS3 as well.  I've still not finished XIII.  Gave it like 3 chances but always stopped caring somewhere along the way.  Should really get around to it some day. I have hope for Versus XIII at least, but I doubt it will see the light of day in this generation.

But yeah, sword controls.  They were pretty awful, you're right.  Idk, there was just something so damn cool about using that energy sword.  Gray Fox then Olga using it just made it so cool, I wanted to be a ninja just like them :P

It was a bit of a pain to use on the Solidus fight, but no more so than aiming was from the third person camera!
