Sorry if I just missed the news but has it been confirmed that you can import your Pokemon from Black/White and Gold/Silver? I've been thinking about buying Heartgold for months now and over the past week I've been at multiple retail stores checking availability (no luck yet...). Knowing I can transfer my Pokemon over to the new games would be great.
You can transfer your Pokemon from Ruby / Sapphire to D/P and HG/SS right? If so that would be awesome as I still have a copy of Ruby somewhere as well 
The most annoying thing about new hardware generations is that often your options to transfer your Pokemon over are in doubt. If Nintendo just issued a statement saying "You will be able to transfer your Pokemon over to the new 3DS Pokemon games that will be out next year" I would put way more time into training my Pokemon.
Anyone having detailed information on which games are compatible with newer ones?
