We're moving into day two of the blackout. I'm not missing much, aside from daily reruns of 30 Rock and Futurama off of Comedy Central

I'm curious about public perception here, though. Who is winning the PR war? Who are people mad at?

Apparently Viacom has been pulling free (legal) episodes of some of their series from the internet, off of places like Hulu, in what DirecTV is accusing them of attempting to hold consumers hostage over the dispute. Meanwhile, the cable company Cox Communications has come out in support of DirecTV (which is odd, given market competition and all)
