"In response to folks who are claiming we only "market" HD titles elsewhere in this thread (where often "marketing" is confused as TV campaigns and everything else is ignored), we had significant television and online buys backing MH Freedom Unite on PSP (how many PSP titles had a TV campaign, even first party?) and our largest Wii TV campaign on Monster Hunter Tri (larger than several multiplatform HD project campaigns we've run) and a number of MH "university" and other community/media outreach programs to teach people about the franchise. There's been no shortage of marketing effort on our fronts. As I've stated many times, growing MH in the West is a strategic initiative for us. Admittedly, the timings of things haven't always worked out exactly as we'd hoped but all will become clear soon enough.
