Do you happen to have RealPlayer's  'Web Downloader and Recorder' plug-in enabled? Because that had happened to me a while back as well, (which got...pretty frustrating), until I eventually figured out that it was the damn thing that I had looked forward to using for downloading videos (mostly from Facebook) the most in the first place, lol.

However, if that's not the problem, then it may be related to some compaitiblity problem between Adobe Flash and the latest version of Firefox, I believe, though I'm not perfectly sure.
