You brought rol and I think he illustrates very well how you can post a lot and not spam. rol's posts are to the point, informed, direct and concise (and occasionally brutally funny). These qualities make it so that if I'm skimming a thread, I'll always stop to read his posts, which is something I won't do for the majority of the other prolific posters.

Rol is VGChartz Top User of 2011 or whatever, so that is completely understandable. We all stop to read his posts. Are you more likely to read short posts by the prolific posters or the long posts? Because I see a kind of a contradiction in some reasonings here. They claim to not have much time but still want each and every post to be long and detailed. Short and easy posts are much easier to read.

The lenght is not important as long as they get the message across.

Thankfully, I've just spoted an example of what bothers me in the Post Your Face III thread, so hopefully I'll be able to illustrate my point.

That's 5 posts that could very well have been compressed into one where you said "Hey you lied to me the other day when you said you weren't pretty!"
