I actually don't think the DX part is BS. We can easily see that this comes to light, as well as the x720 has a Blu-ray drive. I can see MS giving Sony their way to get a BR in their future console, as DVD's aren't going anywhere. I've seen some strange moves from competitors before, this wouldn't surprise me at the very least. But on a logical standpoint, using OpenGL 4.2 seems like a more viable strategy than share tech with a competitor no matter the gain.

I just don't like these articles that make it seem like it has credible history to the story, when it doesn't. I just want to know what both companies are going to do, read it, disect it, and call if a F- n' day! =D

The Direct3D issue is just one of many, many issues I have with that list.
