Every country is a monarchy. Don't pretend you're not just because you elect your Monarch every 4 years. Neither Elizabeth II or her father were 'born to be king'. "Subjects" have more power than "citizens" give them credit for.

"Elect" and "monarch" don't go together. Look up the meaning of the word "monarchy".

And for the record, quite a few countries do not have a singular head of state with most of the power.
