Britain is bigger than just one country, so using just England for the Britan is disrespectful to Scotland, Wales and both North and South Ireland.

Northern Ireland and Ireland are not part of Great Britain.

Being from The UK you should know this.

Until 1922 the Republic of Ireland was part of the UK and GB, and last time i check was still part of the British isles, Northen Ireland is still part of the UK.

So 1. You were wrong to include the Rep. of Ireland in your post.
2. ASStronaut wrongly assumed "Britain" can only mean "Great Britain" (which is the name for the largest of the British Isles, or can refer to the conglomeration of England, Scotland & Wales)

I was only pointing out the Republic of Ireland and other parts of UK were still part of the Britsh army in the wars he stated and not just the English as many seem to think, but up untill 1922 both side of Ireland, Scotland and Wales took part in the Britsh wars not just England.
