Frankly, GT5 will be too much game for me. I don't play racing games much, but if I'm going to get the urge to play one anytime soon it's going to be focused on GT5. The Prologue would give me enough content to make me happy.
I don't think I've used much more than 50 different vehicles in all of the racing games I've ever played combined, let alone cars. This game would offer me two Evos, which is two less than I believe I deserve, but that's enough for many hours of fun. It also has several other cars I'd like to try but not so much stuff I'd be overwhelmed. Really, there's about 20 or so cars that I'd add if I could, but I don't think each car in a video game is worth a dollar (which is why I won't mind losing dlc).
Frankly, for $20 less I get what is in my mind a better experience than what the competition releases for $60 on the same system. I would also not have to wait for the full version and I'll get a game that is just as big as EA's or MS's more expensive racing games (which may explain why they've started to fail miserably in NA lately). GT5P is the really the perfect fit for me, and the full game wouldn't offer enough to me that I'd actually pay more for.
So, personally, I feel that GT5P is actually a service to the fans, and does nothing tangible to harm them whatsoever.
You do not have the right to never be offended.
