thats funny because i would bet most people around the world, if from russia, turkey or nigeria, would prefer english above american english. i would say almost the only ones who like american english more on average are americans. sure it sounds bad for you because you are american but american english sounds bad for all who aren't american. like my language sounds bad for most as well on the planet but not for me  

and about sports...every country has stupid sports, in america you have horse shoe throwing or how you want to call it^^ basketball is good btw, not as good as some other sports but good.

I don't know much about Basketball but I watched a youtube video about "Hack-a-Shaq", now that's just ridiculous.
