Ok I think the issue here is just the inherent rebelliousness of young adults. You can be a Christian, love Jesus, but still sin. Its a natural thing to sin, as long as you pray for forgiveness at your next mass.
Maybe you should vent frustrations at other religions where people actually kill others in their prophets name. Not gonna name the religion but I think you get my point that sinning Christians are the tip of the religious iceberg.
