I kinda agree with you that Halo 4 will hurt CoD sales this time more than the last one, not only because the launches are closer but also because this time it is a "real" Halo, not a spin-off. And yes, this may be the first CoD that doesn't outsell the one before it.

As for the PS3 version selling better than the Xbox one... I'm not so sure.

My prediction: Preorders are lower for Xbox 360 and PS3 versions because a lot of people are waiting to see what the Wii U version looks/plays like before making a decision. Note that, because it hasn't yet been officially announced (although it has been unofficially confirmed), retailers haven't yet opened it up for preorders, so there's no way to see preorder interest for the Wii U version.

EDIT: Before someone ignorant comes in and calls me names, or anything... I'll point out that I didn't say the Wii U version would sell better. I said people are waiting to see the Wii U version before making their decision on which version they want.

I'm sorry but the biggest selling point of CoD is its multiplayer. Do you really believe that people that have spent hours on the Xbox/PS3 multiplayer, that knows/recognizes a lot of nicks and have learned who to avoid and who to go with, are waiting for the WiiU version (from which we know almost nothing about its online) to be announced?

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you.
