I think that's definitely going to be the biggest hurdle at the moment.
I'm not sure what to think about Monster Hunter. I was going to suggest that 'Monster Hunter Tri' could have been what would catapult Monster Hunter to the big leagues in the west, but it didn't. I mean, the Wii was still selling relatively well when it released, biggest home console by some margin. I seem to remember it being marketed a fair bit too. But it just didn't get the sales.
What that was down to, though, I'm not quite sure. The online interface of the Wii isn't the most friendly, so maybe that held quite a few people back? Maybe the Japanese are right and Monster Hunter is just better on portable systems than home consoles?
I don't know. MH4 could definitely be a turning point for the west if it gets released, but even then I'm just not sure it's the game that NA/Europe wants.
