Blame Johann Cryuff for that. He made Barça play that way and then the presidents and coaches have decided to keep that style. And Spain has used the midfield from Barça since quite some time.
Slimebeast said: What should the other teams do? Try to counter it like Portugal and Italy tried by hard pressing, or by extreme defense that most teams do, or should you just rely on your own style like Germany?`Or should you try to copy tiki-taka? Will we see a top nation try to copy tiki-taka? |
The honest answer is that they should play what they know.
Since the basics of Spain are the players of Barça, it makes sense to play like they are used to. What the other national teams should do is the same, play as most of their players they are used to.
And the "tiki-taka" is not easy, it took Barça 30 years to master, do you think a national team can do it?
Please excuse my bad English.
