I will never understand people who get mad when a game has a multiplayer mode. I'm not particularly excited for TLOU in general, but almost everyone seems pumped about what has been shown of the single player thusfar. If there is no evidence whatsoever that the single player is going to be subpar, why would you be upset about getting more for your money? Even if you NEVER PLAY IT, what difference does it make if it is on the disc? I mean, if you were already excited about the single player mode, why would something that has no effect on it at all dampen your excitement? Uncharted 2 was 100x better than Uncharted 1 and it had multiplayer. People freaked out about Bioshock 2 having multiplayer as well, and that game turned out really well also IMO. Granted it was not quite as good as the first one, but I think that has far more to do with it being impossible to recapture the magic of the first Bioshock than it does with multiplayer being included.
