Mom goes on her trip on Monday. We all banded together to send her to Chicago for a week. I feel pretty good about that. She deserves it.
But it makes me wonder why I didn't take a vacation this year. It's like I refuse to use my vacation days at work. It's not like I can't afford it. I remember saying I was going to go on a cruise this year. I didn't do it and the only thing stopping me was that I made zero effort to put the wheels in motion.
