also, super mario galaxy is an excellent choice.
NES: bubble bobble ( runner up: mario 3) gameboy: zelda links awakening snes: super mario world (but some many runners up. such a great console!) n64: zelda majora's mask gc: mario tennis (or maybe metroid prime, depends on the day) ds: professor layton (runner up: puzzle quest) wii: mario galaxy 360: gears i guess... ps3: demons souls (or maybe VC, or uncharted, or flower, waaay too many gems) vita: rayman (so far. not likely to win in the end though)

Yes, an old internet rival of mine once remarked that it was like "becoming a Bulls fan after Jordan's heyday." I am old enough that i could have played SNES comfortably early on, but i thought video games were for losers until i was 9, and even then didn't get a console of my own until 1999, largely inspired by my cousin's ownership of an N64 and my fascination with the colors and imaginative worlds of Mario 64. So I end up among the "new generation" Nintendo fans, which is part of the reason why i'm often at odds with the Malstromites, yet at the same time i can objectively recognize the flaws that made N64 and GameCube losers in their day.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
