Its appeal is irrelevant to me. Im 24, its a childrens show, moreso a girls show. I just cant do it.

Im curious as to why grown men do this. Counterculture? Fear of adulthood? Gender experimentation? I dont know but I certainly do not want to find out firsthand.

The media say it's a girls' show and you take that as fact? What about CoD only being for 18-25 males, or WoW being for basement nerds,or Pokemon being for little kids?

I have one question. Did you like any of the Pixar movies? If not, can you understand their appeal to a general audience not limited to kids? It's exactly the same with ponies, the S2 finale was essentially an hour long Disney movie.

Its creation was intended for girls. Grown men just somehow picked up on it. The media line perplexes me. They say its for girls, the aesthetic says its for girls, most of society thinks that too. Its not fact but its as close to a fact as one can get. Im sticking to rebellion/counterculture on this one.

18-25 is the intended market for COD. Sure older people and children play it, but thats normal. The very premise of WOW is to keep playing. I know WOW people and while they may not be classified as nerds, they do spend a awful lot of time playing it. The main userbase for Pokemon is little kids.....

The Pixar movie line is neither here or there. Those movies are meant for everyone. MLP not only isnt meant for everyone but has a set gender and set age boundaries.
