Discrimination against gays still exists (surprising, I know!) and that's why the need for Pride parades is still present. A tip to all people sick of seeing Pride parades: Don't go see them, just ignore them, if there's a 2 minute story about it on the news, change the channel or suck it up or go do the dishes.
