That is way too high for CPU temperature !

You have to check whether or not the CPU fan is working correctly, although I still think it might be a problem with the thermal paste. I imagine they just used the low cost paste that was on the cooler instead of applying a layer of quality stuff on the CPU. That would explain rather well why the problem started to show ~a month after you got the PC.
