I don't get the people saying 'They should have a happy ending, I want a happy ending'. That really isn't your choice - and it shouldn't be. Despite the fact that it's an interactive game with some degree of choice it remains Bioware's narrative and having an inevitable sad (or at least bittersweet) ending is very much a purposeful narrative choice.

I still don't like the fact that the endings are completely independent of previous choices (some feed forward would have been nice), but I'm glad they've fixed the sloppy writing and plot holes that were the biggest problem with the initial set of endings.
